The Battle in the Void occurs this year.[1]
Pre-April[]
- Heeding the call from Ouros, Sarah Kerrigan gathers Artanis and Jim Raynor and leads an attack into the Void to destroy Amon. They free Ouros from Emil Narud, and he uplifts Kerrigan into a xel'naga. With her new powers, she is able to kill Amon, putting an end to the End War.[2][1]
- The Terran Dominion, Daelaam, and Zerg Swarm declare a ceasefire.[1][3]
April[]
Early April
- The Terran Dominion celebrates its third anniversary of the fall of the Arcturus Mengsk regime and the rise of Emperor Valerian Mengsk. Admiral Matt Horner reports the continued support of his new regime by the Dominion armed forces. The Dominion experiences an era of reconstruction and continuing peace.[4]
- Jim Raynor is last seen in Joeyray's Bar before disappearing. He is never seen again, and all that is recovered is his badge.[4]
Post-Early April[]
- Broodmother Zagara takes control of the Zerg Swarm and forcibly lays claim to Char and the surrounding systems.[4] The ceasefire between the three races of the Koprulu sector is consequently thrown into question.[3]
Misc Events[]
- Valerian Mengsk begins open elections in the Dominion.[1]
- Alarak refuses an alliance with the Daelaam, and departs in search of a new world for the Tal'darim. Any Tal'darim warriors who opposed his decision were given one chance to stay with the Daelaam.[4]
- A mysterious bloom of life on previously barren worlds baffles scientists.[4]
- Ghost agent Stone graduates from the Ghost Academy. He successfully participates in Operation: Sudden Holiday, and Operation: Night Train. After his failure in Operation: Livewire, he is recalled to the Academy for additional training.[5]
- The Terran Dominion gives a final offer to the Daelaam to return the seemingly exiled protoss researcher Ulavu. They are refused.[6]
Notes[]
The timeline of StarCraft: Evolution states that the End War ends this year.[1] This contradicts Legacy of the Void, which establishes that there's a two-year gap between the conflict's end and Raynor's disappearance.[4] It also appears to be contradicted by StarCraft II: This Sacred Land, which occurs in 2506, but has been stated to take place after Amon's defeat.[7]
