Abaddon is a lava planet,[1] similar to Char, located in or near the Koprulu Sector.
History
Background
Although there is a Terran Dominion presence on the world, Abaddon also houses anti-Dominion factions such as the Koprulu Liberation Front[2] and remnants of the United Earth Directorate expeditionary force.[3][4]

Nova on Abaddon
Following the Brood War, a KLF force took over a Dominion supply depot, holding a Grizzly along with an engineer. Nova Terra was dispatched to deal with the situation but the engineer was executed before she could reach him.[2]
Notes
Abaddon is a section of hell in Biblical mythology. In Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Abaddon is a zone from Act V of the game which resembles hell.
