Jukebox track

American Trilogy is a terran song composed by Mickey Newbury[1] and performed by Brian Bode.[2]

In-Universe

An American trilogy was recorded by unknown artist Brian "A" Bode, when an 8-track recording of the song was found in the back of a freezer behind a frozen turkey. Since then the song has been digitally restored, and has caught the imagination of many terrans of the Koprulu sector. Humbert H. considers the track to an example of anti-Dominion subversive music. The song was banned by the Terran Dominion under Arcturus Mengsk. The song later featured in "Revolution Overdrive: Songs of Liberty as examples of the best anti-Dominion music.[1]

Lyrics

Oh I wish I was in the land of cotton.
Old things they are not forgotten.
Look away, look away, look away dixieland.
Oh I wish I was in dixie, away, away.
In dixieland I take my stand to live and die in dixie.
Cause dixieland, that's where I was born.
Early lord one frosty morning.
Look away, look away, look away dixieland.

Glory, glory hallelujah.
Glory, glory hallelujah.
Glory, glory hallelujah.
His truth is marching on.

So hush little baby.
Don't you cry.
You know your daddys bound to die.
But all my trials, lord will soon be over.

Game Effect

The music can be played by the Hyperions jukebox. It will not play upon entering the cantina however, and must either be switched to or waited for.[2]
