Char Aleph

Char Aleph is a space platform situated in near orbit over the planet Char. It has been infested by the zerg.

In the aftermath of the Guild Wars, the Terran Confederacy gained control over Char. The platform was constructed to house the few personnel needed to operate the mining sites. During the Great War the platform was overrun and infested by the zerg to serve as an orbital nest and hatchery.[1]
During the Brood War, Infested Kerrigan used the platform as a base of operations to plan and execute the downfall of the Second Overmind.[2] The final major battle of the war was fought at Char Aleph; forces from the protoss, Terran Dominion, and United Earth Directorate Expeditionary Fleet converged but were all defeated by the defending zerg.[3]

Char Aleph may be derived from the Codex Sinaiticus, a 4th century uncial Greek manuscript of the Bible. Aleph is a shorthand designation for it.
"Aleph" is the term used to represent the Hebrew and Phoenician letters which stand for "A".
