The cobra is a terran hover vehicle. It is armed with twin Eviscerator[1] rail guns and it can shoot while moving[3] - similar to the Arclite siege tank. This was shown to be incredibly effective against the thor, which turned too slowly to track the strafing cobras.[3] It had the ability to attack ground and air units, although its weapons were particularly effective against armored targets.[1][3] It possesses an electrical attack which slows enemy units.[4]

As of the current build, the cobra has been replaced by the thor.[5] It will be available in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty as a campaign unit[6][7][8] though it is unlikely that the cobra will appear in multiplayer.[9]

It is very similar to the diamondback tank.[10]
