The Confederate Army was a branch of the armed forces of the Terran Confederacy.

HistoryEdit

The Army was in service to the Confederacy by the early 25th century.[2][3] Its members developed their own version of poker ("army poker").[3]

During the Great War, the Confederate Army and Colonial Fleet were deployed to enforce the blockade of Antiga Prime and contain rebel forces on the planet following Alpha Squadron's defection to the Sons of Korhal. The detachment was engaged by both the Sons of Korhal and the zerg. The rebels broke out after drawing zerg onto Confederate forces with a psi-emitter. Confederate forces withdrew to Halcyon. Confederate media reported significant Army reinforcement of Halcyon to interdict enemy movement, human or alien, toward Tarsonis. Later the Army fought in the unsuccessful defense of Tarsonis.[2]

EquipmentEdit

The Army maintained its own starships for transport and had access to nuclear weaponry and psi-screens. The T10 was the standard issue sidearm around 2440.[2]

Known MembersEdit

Chuck Horner's father and grandfather also served.[3]
