David Kim (Kim Tae Hyun) is a member of Blizzard Entertainment.

BiographyEdit

Kim played in StarCraft and Warcraft III tournaments, before he was recruited by Relic Entertainment. He worked on the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War series. After StarCraft II was revealed, he applied for a position on the team, and was hired soon afterwards as an associated game balance designer.[1] He was later promoted to senior game designer[2], and is currently the game's lead multiplayer designer.[3] He formerly held the position of senior game designer[4] He has also worked on Heroes of the Storm hero and map design.[1]

He participated in all four battle reports, winning all four of them.[5][6][7][8]

His team also won the BlizzCon 2009 2 vs 2 exhibition match, where the call of "nerf David Kim" was heard.[9]

He constantly watches esports matches in order to help with game design.[10]
