The Death Head is an elite unit of reapers used both by mercenary groups and the Royal Guard of the Terran Dominion. In addition to larger jetpacks, the Death Head wields P-55 pistols and D-9 charges.
History[]
A number of Death Heads also served in the Terran Dominion's Elite Guard. During the Second Great War, Death Heads participated in the failed defense of the Korhal Palace against the resurgent Zerg Swarm and Raynor's Raiders.[1]

During the End War, several Death Heads were stranded on the Kel-Morian Combine mining colony commanded by Guildmaster Debra Greene, and were infested after the zerg under Amon attacked. Allied commanders were later forced to fight through the infested Death Heads to aid in the colony's evacuation.[2]
Game Unit[]
Death Heads appear in the Co-op Missions map "Miner Evacuation," as part of the infested terran hordes. They are statistically identical to their campaign counterpart, except with the neural parasite model attached to them. They can be spawned from militarized transports.[2]

Notes[]
- An unused button for hiring Death Heads can be found attached to the Merc compound in the StarCraft II Galaxy Map Editor, implying they were intended to be made available in the single-player campaign but were removed.
- Data also exists for a group of mercenary reapers named Block B in the Wings of Liberty campaign. The Death Heads would replace their role in the Left 2 Die map as mercenary reapers before later being used by the Royal Guard.
