Drew Roder was a member of Raynor's Raiders in the SceeVee Special Engineering Corps.
Roder spent ten years wildcatting for oil wells on the planet Zenn, before being picked up by Bill "Pearly" Bousquette to join the SceeVee Corps. During their operation on Gurdlac, the Corps were ambushed by a zerglings swarm and forced to fall back into some of the nearby canyons. As squad morale broke, Pearly rallied the men to come together, Roder being one of the first to express his support. Together, they managed to trap the zerglings in the canyon and kill them using engineered traps, reclaiming their mining base.
