The EMP Generator was a powerful anti-Protoss weapon designed by the Schezar's Scavengers, as part of a plot led by Ulrezaj. It could create a pulse of EMP energy every ten minutes, draining Protoss shields and energy on a planetary scale. Furthermore, it had no effect on the Fist of Ulrezaj, Ulrezaj's Dark Templar forces.[1]

The device was constructed on Braxis during the Brood War.[2]
It was later transported to a space platform over Shakuras as part of a plot by Ulrezaj and Alan Schezar to defeat the Khalai refugees sheltering on Shakuras. However, Protoss forces directed by Zeratul defeated the enemy forces and destroyed the Generator.[1]
