The Expedition Leader was the leader of a protoss expedition to Kaldir, and held the rank of executor.

When his forces discovered Sarah Kerrigan on Kaldir, he attempted to summon the Golden Armada to destroy her, but was hampered by the inability to contact Shakuras through the Khala. When Kerrigan destroyed the psi-link spires, he ordered a retreat. His attempts to send shuttles through warp conduits to Shakuras was also foiled by Kerrigan.

Finally, the leader took his remaining protoss aboard a ship which would take his people to safety. Kerrigan placed a parasite into Lasarra and tricked the protoss into transporting her aboard. The parasite erupted, killing Lasarra, and eventually became Broodmother Niadra, whose brood destroyed all the escape pods and killed all of the protoss aboard the ship, including the Expedition Leader.

Notes

Some of the Expedition Leader's dialogue will differ depending on what order the missions are done in. If the Kaldir mission is done before the Zerus missions, the Leader will comment on Kerrigan's human appearance. If the Kaldir mission is done after Zerus, the Leader will tell Kerrigan it was foolish of her to come here without all of her Swarm.
