Ketalis is a protoss high templar. He presents a stern, dedicated presence and cares deeply for his people. Brave and ever vigilant, he believed that it was his duty to protect Aiur from all possible threats. His hatred for the zerg is legendary, as is his tolerance for terrans, considering them to be a young species in need of guidance as much as material aid.
Ketalis was once a rising political star on his Aiur. (or at least as renowned as a member of the Templar Caste could be in politics as opposed to the Judicator Caste). His chances for ascension were jeopardized by the Conclave however, who, in the wake of the known zerg presence in the Koprulu Sector, ordered that Ketalis join the Alliance, for by helping the terrans he would help the protoss. To date, he has remained part of the Alliance.
A few years after the Brood War, Ketalis and an Alliance squad took part in a successful mission to Dylar Station and the planet below, Ketalis earning a medal for his trouble.
