Resource pallets

Resource pallets are terran containers founds all across Koprulu sector, used to store refined minerals and vespene gas.

Gameplay

Resource pallets are scattered across maps in the StarCraft II campaigns. They are found as early as the mission The Outlaws. They generally yield either one hundred minerals or one hundred units of vespene gas each, depending on the pallet. Pallets are also dropped by certain units and buildings when destroyed, for example, the trains in The Great Train Robbery.

Resource pallets are useful in the beginning of a level, where workers are still in the process of being built and resources are scarce. Generally, no attacks occur at the beginning of most missions, making it a perfect time for starting troops to scout around and look for pallets. Pallets decrease in significance as resource gathering is established.

Pallets are also related to campaign achievements, collecting them is related to the following achievements.
