Shape War TD is an arcade-highlighted game. It is a tower defense game, where the player places towers to kill enemies that run along a preset course. In this game however, the player doesn't upgrade towers, but instead changes their color. Switching a tower's color changes how it functions. For instance, the player can trade attack speed for damage or increase the tower's range.[1]
