The flak pistol is a terran weapon. It apparently replaced the slugthrower as the marine sidearm after the Brood War.^[1] The weapon's ergonomics allows it to be wielded comfortably by personnel in CMC armor.^[2] It fires explosive rounds.^[3]

TriviaEdit

The pistol bears resemblance to the sidearm of the titular character from RoboCop, the Auto-9.
