What do you guy's as the wikia regular contributors and SC fans in general think about WoL and its story? My opinion is that it's pretty damn good. Plot is interesting, branching missions are cool, characters are well developed, etc. It is certainly the most worthy sequel to the excellent original. I basically agree with Angry Joe's review for the most part. Of course, there are some flaws here and there, but they aren't major enough to ruin the great experience the story and the game itself provide.
My complaints are essentialy to those of Angry Joe's (lack of Zerg missions, very few Protoss gameplay in campaign). The major setback is, of course, the most unfortunate death of Zeratul's voice actor Jack Ritschel (R.I.P.), who did the FANTASTIC job in SC vanilla and BW. It would have been terrific to hear his voice in SC2, especially considering Zeratul's storyline involving him trying to avert the universe's destruction by the Hybrid. Fred Tatasciore did a good job, but IMO was unable to fully recreate the awesome feel of Ritschel's acting as Zeratul.
All in all, I find SC2 story to be great. So, what is your opinion, guys? XEL 07:30, December 24, 2010 (UTC)
