Gelgaris

Gelgaris, located in or near the Koprulu Sector, is a planet of extremes; sub-zero temperatures at night, blazing hot temperatures during the day and howling winds for most, if not all of the time. A tolerable medium could be found, but only lasted for ten minutes each day. Despite the inhospitability, it had life in the form of microscopic insects, along with a few larger ones such as the decipede.

Jake Ramsey and his archaeology team spent two years on the world before being shipped to Nemaka.
