Gorn was a cerebrate in service to the Overmind and the leader of the Baelrog Brood.[1]
[edit] Biography
Gorn and the Baelrog Brood played a prominent role in the invasion of Aiur[2] and established themselves on the surface. Not long after the invasion had begun, a protoss force led by Praetor Fenix stormed through its hive cluster and successfully struck down Gorn.[3] However, through the powers of the Overmind, Gorn was reincarnated before their very eyes.[4]
Much later, Gorn would be assassinated again, this time by the Dark Templar Zeratul. However, neither Gorn nor the Overmind had any defense against the Dark Templar's powers and Gorn's death was permanent.[5]
