Gravity accelerators (a.k.a. gravity/argrav generators) are devices of terran origin, providing mankind with an answer to the problems presented by zero-gravity environments (eg. movement, muscular atrophy). The technology was devised prior to the colonization of the Koprulu Sector.^[1]

Accelerators are capable of amplifying existing gravitational forces and generating additional gravity, the force of which can be increased or decreased at will.^[1] However, accelerators still have a shortcoming in that the amount of gravity generated in zero-g environments is still slightly less than standard gravity. Although the difference is not noticeable by most people, it is still enough to lead to space sickness.^[2]

CompatibilityEdit

Gravity generators are used by space platforms and capital ships. In addition, the following pieces of Terran technology maintain the technology should the main generators fail;

• CMC Powered Combat Suit^[1] (grav-boots may provide an alternative).
• Goliath^[1]
• Siege tank^[1]
• Vulture^[1]
