Gun Turret SC-G Game1

A gun turret with Nova mounted

In StarCraft: Ghost, the gun turret was a heavy automated weapon platform serviced by light infantry. They could be placed either in an installation or on a battlefield; the flak guns are long-ranged weapons.[3]

Nova could utilize the turret during the campaign.[1]

StarCraft II[]

In Nova Covert Ops, gun turrets appear in the missions "The Escape" and "Enemy Intelligence" as detectors Nova must navigate around in the stealth sections of the missions. In "The Escape", the turrets are targetable but invulnerable.[2]
They are deactivated once all enemies around the turret are killed. In "Enemy Intelligence", the turrets can be destroyed by three attacks from Nova's monomolecular blade. These turrets detect in a rotating cone.[4]

Trivia[]

The gun turret's model is likely based on sentry guns, with an additional sensor dishes on top.
