Second Great WarEdit
During Second Great War, infested missile turrets were nonfunctional, and only as spawning grounds for infested terrans and their offshoot breeds. Several were destroyed by Raynor's Raiders on Meinhoff to stem its infestation.
After the End War, the zerg overran a Umojan Protectorate research expedition to Jarban Minor, infesting several missile turrets. However, these missile turrets retained their functionality both as detectors and as anti-air static defenses.
