An old installation on Brontes IV was inhabited by the Fist of Redemption rebel movement.
Brontes IV Colonial Militia patrols which approached the installation were ambushed and captured. Marshal Bill Constantine dispatched a patrol led by a scout sergeant to investigate. The patrol survived an ambush, but had to be evacuated.[1]
Given evidence of dangerous rebel activity, the Terran Confederacy dispatched a team of ghosts known as the Shroud to investigate the installation. During the raid, the Shroud discovered the rebels were keeping zerg prisoners, and from an informant they learned a little about their plans and their leader, Atticus Carpenter. Eventually the Shroud took a propaganda disk they found with them and rescued the captives and escaped.[2]
Constantine used the propaganda disk to convince skilled firebat officer Jack Frost to come out of retirement and lead an assault force against the rebels. Frost defeated them.[3] Following the battle, Frost announced that the installation had "been destroyed".[4]
