The kwah-kai, ("Little Hands" in Khalani) are red-striped yellow-eyed primate-like creatures[1] indigenous to Aiur.[2] Curious, they are considered clever, and will steal unattended items they find to be interesting.[1]
During the Aeon of Strife, the kwah-kai featured in cautionary tales of the Shelak Tribe, including that of the fictional character named Little Hands, as to what would happen to them should they grow too curious and indulge their tendencies. Savassan and Temlaa dismissed those tales and admired the kwah-kai for their curious nature.[3]
