The kwah-kai, also known as "Little Hands", are red-striped yellow-eyed primate-like creatures found on Aiur. Curious, they are considered clever, and will steal unattended items they find to be interesting.^[1]

During the Aeon of Strife, the kwah-kai featured in cautionary tales of the Shelak Tribe, as to what would happen to them should they grow too curious and indulge their tendencies. Savassan and Temlaa were two exceptions, admiring the kwah-kai for their curious nature.^[2]
