Orbital flyers are terran craft used for atmospheric flight. Making a howling sound when in flight and capable of VTOL, they are used extensively on Tyrador IX for ferrying people up to mountain resorts and by paramedic and police teams. They are also used to ferry passengers from starships to starports on the planets below them.[1]
