The Outback Hunter is a special type of hellion used in Left 2 Die. When the player researches hellions, two Outback Hunters arrive in drop pods as well.[1]

A number of Outback Hunters also participated in the defense of the Korhal Palace from the invasion of the resurgent Zerg Swarm and Raynor's Raiders.[2]

Damaged mechanical units recover hit points when out of combat, at a rate of 0.6015 each second.[3]

Our ship and vehicle hulls are now made from a material called Regenerative Bio-Steel. This material uses internal nanobots to slowly repair any damage the hull sustains. While this regeneration process is much slower than conventional SCV repairs, it can be the difference between life and death if no SCVs are available.

NotesEdit

Outback Hunters are an earlier form of the hellion artistically, back when it was a three-wheeled vehicle.[4]

"Lot of people are lookin' to hire these guys right now."

The Outback Hunters were to appear in the single-player campaign of Wings of Liberty as mercenary hellions, hirable by Raynor's Raiders. An unused button for hiring them is attached to the merc compound when its data is viewed in the map editor.
