Sergeant Paulson was supposedly a Terran Dominion marine in the 502nd Regiment who operated out of Outpost 38-BC-16. He was mentioned in a complaint to Major Lance Wallace about the low ammunition at the outpost and the degrading quality of the MREs on site. In his report, Quartermaster Hadar mentions that Paulson attempted to make due with the reserve ammunition they had, but 71% was wasted by Private Jenkins in a wasted training exercise. Jenkins also suggested that they use the bad MREs the camp had as reserve ammunition, a suggestion Paulson was seriously considering.
The staff at Radio Liberty confirmed that Paulson did not actually exist, and that the message was a cover for a secret Dominion Intelligence Section message that stated "Acquire Intel."[1]
