Polaris Prime is a space station that was originally designed as a diplomatic enclave. It was built to allow ambassadors from different terran factions to patch together their differences in a peaceful manner. Consisting of two central meeting areas and six separate rooms, it gained a reputation as a haven for individuals dedicated to peace. However, such ideals did not avail it against the zerg during the Great War, the station having to be abandoned as a result.
At some point various factions returned to the station, settling their arguments in a less peaceful fashion.
