The Prison Deck Coupling was a Terran Dominion structure located on the prison ship Moros. It connected the prison deck to the rest of the ship.

Overview

In 2505, Commander Jim Raynor, after being captured at the Umojan Research Station EB-103 facility, was taken to the Moros. Later, after learning the Moros's location from the Raiders, Sarah Kerrigan and her zerg forces boarded the ship in order rescue him. After a substantial number of Dominion defenses were breached, a Dominion officer ordered the coupling destroyed, but the zerg prevented it, allowing Kerrigan to enter the prison deck.

Game Unit

The prison deck coupling is a neutral structure that appears in the Heart of the Swarm mission "Conviction." After a cutscene, a thor will begin attacking the coupling. The player must save the coupling, or else fail the mission. This can be easily accomplished by using an infestor's Neural Parasite on the attacking thor.
