The pygalisk is a "baby" version of the ultralisk. Seemingly engineered by the Terran Dominion, large numbers of them were held as lab specimens in the Castanar installation.[1]
History

This article or section contains information from the optional Rebellion Missions in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. |
A number of them emerged from cocoons as Raynor's Raiders fled from a powerful hybrid in an effort to escape the installation. At least one ultralisk supported them.[1]
