Rome is a city located on Earth, formerly the capital of Italy and in ancient times, the Roman Empire.

Despite faulty and limited data on Earth's history, knowledge of Rome is retained by the terrans of the Koprulu sector, such as remembrance of the phrase "all roads lead to Rome"[1] and the poems of Ovid.[2]

In addition, the wolf in the insignia of the Mengsk Dynasty references the legend of romulus and remus of the ancient empire.[3]
