Scion

Scion was a province of Aiur which fell to the zerg in the early stages of their invasion of the planet. Most of the province consisted of elevated land, featuring a basin in its western area. Northeast, however, the elevated land gave way to lower jungle, featuring a protoss settlement/fortress.

The reclamation of Scion could be said to be driven by pride more than anything else. After a failed attack on a zerg cerebrate, Judicator Aldaris declared that the zerg will be overwhelmed with the might and the fury that is our heritage!; possibly a reflection of the will of the Conclave. Scion would serve as an example of Protoss might.
With Praetor Fenix maintaining a small force at Antioch in case of counterattack, the Executor (Artanis) led his forces against the zerg there. The zerg controlled most of the province, the Tiamat Brood stationed in the basin and the Baelrog Brood stationed in the province's main settlement. Nevertheless, the protoss were able to reclaim the province, though at the cost of losing many protoss lives at Antioch to the zerg.
