Servo servants are humanoid automatons utilized by terrans as servants.
Many terrans, at least during the reign of the Terran Confederacy, believed that servo servants are more efficient than their organic counterparts, not to mention that you only had to pay for them once. However, this ignored the fact that servo servants were somewhat unreliable, always requiring maintenance. This was actually intended by their main manufacturer, keeping it in business.[1]
It is known that robots are also utilized by terrans for construction,[2] but whether these are servo servants, a variant or a different class of machine altogether is unknown.
