Skynyrd II is a terran refugee ship.

During the Second Great War, it was in orbit around Meinhoff when Kate Lockwell reported live from it in regards to the refugee crisis. The ship was part of a fleet struggling to reach the safety of the core worlds, but was short on food and water. The death toll was soaring and morale was low. Most of the refugees pinned their hopes of rescue on para-military and rebel groups such as Raynor's Raiders.[1]

NotesEdit

The ship is likely named after Lynyrd Skynyrd, singer of Sweet Home Alabama, a song on Jim Raynor's jukebox.[2][3]
