Main article: Dark Origin

This secret mission is located near the end of StarCraft Episode VI. To find it, you must defeat Zerg mission 9, entitled The Reckoning, in less than 25 minutes. A message indicates that a bonus mission has been activated. In this mission, the hero Zeratul is looking for Artanis and his fleet on an uncharted dark moon near Char, but Zeratul is in for a startling discovery when he gets there.

[edit] Stukov Series

The 3 missions of the Stukov series are Deception, Mercenaries II, and Resurrection IV, in that order. There is a plot to this series of missions, almost like in a campaign, except in each mission you are fighting on behalf of a different faction.

[edit] Deception

Main article: Deception

Deception is a Blizzard Map of the Month, a series of free maps released by Blizzard Entertainment for StarCraft. However, it leads up to the secret mission Resurrection IV.

This map features the Kimeran Pirates on a covert espionage mission in a top-secret research installation run by Confederate remnants.

[edit] Mercenaries II

Main article: Mercenaries II

Mercenaries II is a Blizzard Map of the Month, a series of free maps released by Blizzard Entertainment for StarCraft. However, it leads up to the secret mission Resurrection IV.

Alexei Stukov appears in this map as the person you work for. Similar to the previous Mercenaries map, you can play this one with one to three players. The number of players determines the number of enemy forces you must defeat. Your mission is to exterminate some "Detestable Vermin".

[edit] Resurrection IV

Main article: Resurrection IV

Resurrection IV is a two-player secret mission originally only available in the Nintendo 64 version of StarCraft. To reach it on the Nintendo 64, the player must beat all the levels, including Dark Origin, without using any cheats. An unofficial PC/Mac version is available for download from StarCraft Legacy in both one-player and two-player formats, converted from the Nintendo 64 version by Zero and Drake Clawfang of StarCraft Legacy.

In this mission, Artanis sends Jim Raynor and Taldarin on a top-secret mission on the planet Braxis.
