I think this page could really use an image. PsiSeveredHead 23:00, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I can take a screenshot of the rifle in the "Ascension" cinematic. I'm pretty sure it appeared here. --Rethas 05:32, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. PsiSeveredHead 11:28, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Well actually those marines are colonial marines not UED so they would just have the impaler C-14. So that screenshot would not show the C-141.

Please sign your posts with ~~~~. How do you tell the difference between bonafide-from-Earth UED troops and sector-conscripted UED troops? If one believes that the C-141 looks different then we'll never find an image of it. If we believe that the only rifle model used in SC and SC:BW represents both, then how do you tell the difference? Especially given how the UED was adopting sector equipment left and right? Meco 04:54, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

We can be pretty sure that all the Marines in the final Brood War cinematic are UED forces. I think it's meant to symbolise DuGalle's memories of the UED's steady defeat in the Koprulu Sector, courtesy of his mistakes.

As for the rifle...the trench image shows the rifles well, but the telling factor is when the yellow Marine is doing buckshots akin to a shotgun. Not only is this a property not shared by the C-14, but it looks slightly more cylindrical. The firing out of the bunker section is another example.--Hawki 07:48, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Well actually based on what the battlecruiser crew member in the intro said "The colony is about to be over run should we intervene?" proves that they are colonial defending there colony. The ending cinematic being a continuation of the intro means that they are the same marines along with the fact they have mixed colors of armor while UED only were white. --GhillieSuit41 00:10, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
