I haven't taken that close a look at the options screen, but shouldn't this be spelled "Interceptor" instead? (And same for the link in Red Squadron?) Kimera 757 (talk) 11:51, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I've been over the screen with a magnifying glass and it definetly says "Inteacseptor". The full list is;

Targeting Sensor Class 4 Inteacseptor Fighters...Red Squadron

Granted, Inteacseptor could be a mispelling and if it's being identified by a targeting sensor, perhaps it's a protoss ship. But Interceptors aren't capital ships and being automated, aren't going to have Squadron designations. It may be the protoss identifying the ship, their technology advanced enough to detect fighter squadrons. If one looks closely at the ship, one can see what looks like navigation lights. I don't recall a protoss ship ever using such technology, while we know from cinematics that terrans do.--Hawki 12:01, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I've posted the image online. I don't know if they're in combat with a Protoss fleet though. Could these be an old name for Wraiths? (If you have a big screen monitor, perhaps you should do the screenshot capture.) Kimera 757 (talk) 12:19, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I think it's clear that the protoss are present. On one hand, there's explosions of fire. On the other, there's blue shimmers on some of the capital ships; the telltale sign of plasma shields.

It's possible that the interceptor here (however it's spelt) is actually a terran fighter, that the scanner is reading the fighters rather than the ship they're on. Assuming that Inteacseptor is a mispelling, perhaps the article can be made as "Class 4 Inteceptor", distinguishing it from the Carrier's version.

As for a screen capture, I have a wide-screen monitor, but my hardware isn't working right now; I've been using a laptop over the past few weeks.--Hawki 12:38, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I think Intersceptor is an obvious mispelling, and I think the article should get changed to "Class 4 Interceptor". But we can wait a bit until we get a better screenshot. (I can expand the image on my computer, but not to "crystal clarity", and I think we need to put a better image on the wiki before we do more.) Maybe we should make this part of your user page space until we're sure?

About hardware problems... tell me about it. I bought a new video card a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't do 3D well (ironically that's why I bought it). Kimera 757 (talk) 21:07, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
