Given the filename, the contested image seems like it should be from The Evacuation of Agria. How do we know it's Outbreak instead? PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 13:02, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
Strategy[]
"A couple of firebats and medics will help too and if you've researched Strike Turrets for your bunkers and/or Predition Flame Turrets, these will also make your life significantly easier. " - I've tried replaying the mission in Normal, Casual, and Brutal, and if you try to do it, the Perdition Flame Turrents, and all the units that you get after playing this mission are unavailable for use. Just try to replay the mission and build some Flame Turrents. They won't be there as an option. - 190.135.19.131
- I fell for this too. I guess you have to postpone the whole misson until you actually got the units you want. --77.21.207.253 19:44, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
Army of Darkness Achievement[]
The Army of Darkness Achievement is quite easy; you can weaken the buildings during the day, so when night comes you need only a few hits (the infested city north-west is the nearest and have all the building that we need). You can stack Hellion (area attack against the hordes and bonus damage versus ligh armor; even the buildings have light armor) and some Marauder/Medics (to slow the enemy and finish the building from long range). To make things easier, you can destroy many building during the day and leave only the weakened last 15 for the last night. --Lopippo 18:29, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
- The availability of reapers for this achievement makes it trivial. The reapers are strong against buildings making weakening of the buildings unnecessary. The infested terrans appear to come out as soon as you attack a building. The first time you do it, Tychus puts in his 2 cents. I've found the priority targetting AI works quite well on its own so all I needed to do was park about 15 reapers near a bunch of buildings then send them in with a small group of hellions (I used about 6) as AoE backup after nightfall. They'd start piffing their grenades then switch to the infested as they appear. As soon as the area's cleared, have both groups of units retreat to the base. Repeat each night until you get it. The losses are sustainable and given the speed of these units, bringing medics is pointless. Buying the grenades upgrade for the reapers also help with controlling the nightly surges. The AI at Hard difficulty will evacuate the targetted area. Even though the damage is reduced, making them stop and move gives additional time to repair your bunkers. - One cheap tactic is the use of cloaked units since the only detectors are the spore crawlers at the south part of the map.Wil1 04:26, December 1, 2010 (UTC)
