From StarCraft Wiki
About Me Greetings. I played StarCraft many years ago and, like with so many other fast paced games, was never much good at it.
In recent years I've migrated from tech fantasy and become a science fiction enthusiast of the transhumanist sort. What's the difference? Tech fantasy has the "what if" element like science fiction, but doesn't observe the implications. If suspension of disbelief is required well beyond the foundation "what ifs" and/or there are logical potholes appearing all over the place, chances are you're looking at tech fantasy.
Saying that my interest in StarCraft these days is somewhat schizophrenic, as is reflected in my pseudo-StarCraft fan fiction. It's always an interesting experiment to see how much of a tech fantasy universe can be preserved when you try to convert it into a science fiction universe.
